Sweet Surrender
by Maya Banks

Gray Montgomery, after losing his partner Alex and being on leave to recover from his own injury, wants to find the killers and bring them to justice. His partners father Mick, wants Gray to follow a lead on Alex’s killer. The lead takes him to Houston and a woman named Faith Malone. He takes a job with Faith’s adoptive family who runs a security company. Gray decides that Faith is innocent, even if she has ties to the murderer.  Faith brings out the protective instinct in him and stirs dominant tendencies as well. The more he learns about her, the faster his attraction grows.

Faith Malone just ended a relationship because she couldn’t find any satisfaction. She wants someone who will take control, who will be dominant and call the shots. When she meets Gray, she thinks she recognizes him as a domiant man and fulfill her fantasies. All she has to do is capture Grayson. Faith decides to explore her submissive side and decides to visit The House, which is a sexual fantasy club to see if she can find any answers.

Maya Banks has done a fantastic job with Sweet Surrender. She took me into the story with characters that are intriguing and interesting. The suspense is wonderful and has you on pins and needles just waiting for things to happen.  The sexual tension is hot between Gray and Faith and had a very satisfying ending. I hope Maya Banks decides to give the other characters in the book their own stories too. Micah and Damon are both up front with their desires and I would love to see what type of women they would end up with. Readers who enjoy Maya Banks will love this story of love and suspense. Sweet Surrender is a recommended read.
