Bare Facts
by Katherine Gabera
Charity, Justine and Anne are lethal weapons and when they are together they are a force to be reckoned with. Their bodies may be made for sin, but everything else is for kicking butt.
Former model, Charity Keone is a highly regarded employee of Liberty Investigation, which provides personal protective services. Currently she is guarding CEO Daniel Williams of Williams International, an importing-exporting firm based in Hong Kong and Seattle. It is clear he is one of those guys who think Charity is all looks - until she saves him from a shooter. Daniel has doubts that this beautiful woman can keep him safe from an unknown enemy wanting him dead and more so from his steamy thoughts. However, he changes his mind when she saves his life from as assassin. He responds passionately, and Charity, lets him. Suddenly Charity’s wondering just whose body needs guarding.
Katherine Gabera has done a fantastic job on this book. It puts you in mind of the TV show Charlie’s Angels with the girls protecting their clients and getting their orders from Charlie. However, these angles are Charity, Justine and Ann and they are getting their orders from someone named Sam. Charity doesn’t normally get involved with her clients but she feels a connection with Daniel. Their desires lead them into a sexual tryst. The readers won’t want to put this book down when the suspense kicks in and doesn’t slow down. The characters are well thought out, full of hope, fears and faith. I love to read a book that has a lot of suspense and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next.
